Parts for Vario small Bell 47
The Vario Bell 47 G II is a great sized model. However, I have wanted to see a Bell 47 D-1 so I am making this conversion. With a new model of the Bell 47 from Vario I have started this conversion with the cockpit.
The first thing to go was the curved sides of the Bell 47 GII These were made into the long straight angle on the D model.
Then the change to the different style of cockpit was started with construction of a new floor, seat, back wall, and control console. These will all be held in place with small screws attached to mounting bracket on the inside. The whole cockpit area must be removable to access the batteries and the Rx
Once complete these resin kits will allow you to build a civilian chopper to take people on flying tours or do some crop dusting. Or, you can build a M*A*S*H "Angel of Mercy" and fly soldiers to safety.
