These are the Starboard Foot Steps and Panels for the Vario BK 117. The steps and panel are placed on the fuselage between the cockpit doors and the sliding doors. The foot steps are non functional.
Each Starboard Foot Steps and Panels set includes each of the parts shown in the image below. The set is offered as "raw castings" and "ready to be installed".
The "raw castings" of the Starboard Foot Steps and Panels will need to be removed from the "raw casting". The parts will require washing and they will contain some flashing which will need to be cleaned off. The casting can be applied to the fuselage with CA or epoxy after the surface of both the model and the back of the casting have been lightly sanded.
The “ready to be installed” version will be cleaned, sanded, and will have two coats of primer paint added.
