These are the Vertical and Horizontal Stabilizer Supports for the Vario BK 117. The supports are placed on each of the stabilizers next to the tail boom and on the inside and outside of the vertical stabilizers.
Each Vertical and Horizontal Stabilizer Supports set includes each of the parts shown in the image below. The set is offered as "raw castings" and "ready to be installed".
The "raw castings" of the Vertical and Horizontal Stabilizer Supports will need to be removed from the "raw casting".
The whole set will require washing and it will contain some flashing which will need to be cleaned off. Each casting can be applied to the fuselage with CA or epoxy after the surface of both the model and the back of the casting have been lightly sanded.
The “ready to be installed” version will be cleaned, sanded, and will have two coats of primer paint added.
NOTE: The fuselage models are hand made and there can be some small variations between each model. Therefore, the modeler may need to alter the castings or add some filler to get a good clean fit.
