Front Door Latches

These are the Front Door Latches for the Vario BK 117. They are functional latches. The latches are placed on each of the front doors. The stud is attached to the door while the socket is attached to the fuselage.
Each Front Door Latch set includes 2 latches. This will allow the modeler to display the model with the doors open. Fellow modelers or Judges can view the cockpit of the helicopter without having to open and hold the door.
The Front Door Latch is available as "raw castings" or "ready to be installed".
If the Front Door Latches are purchased as a "raw casting" some flashing will need to be removed. The whole set will require washing.
The “ready to be installed” Front Door Latches will be cleaned, sanded, and will have two coats of primer paint added.
Each casting can be applied to the door /fuselage with CA or epoxy after the surface of both the model and the back of the casting have been lightly sanded.
NOTE: To complete the doors the modeler should still purchase the Fittings set for the BK 117 from your local Vario Dealer.
