Panel Covers 1 for the Vario BK 117 is a set of covers for the back doors. This set also contains a small vent cover that goes above the port back door. The vent is non functional.
Each Panel Covers 1 set includes each of the parts shown in the image below. The set is offered as "raw castings" and "ready to be installed".
The "raw castings" of the Panel Covers 1 set will need to be removed from the "raw casting". The whole set will require washing and it will contain some flashing which will need to be cleaned off. Each casting can be applied to the fuselage with CA or epoxy after the surface of both the model and the back of the casting have been lightly sanded.
The “ready to be installed” version will be cleaned, sanded, and will have two coats of primer paint added.
