This is a collection of Aerials for the Vario BK 117. These aerials are placed on the belly of the helicopter and on the Tail boom. It includes two of each. The fin type aerials are placed in various places but the two on the Tail boom are for that location only.
Each Aerial Set includes each of the parts shown in the image below. The set is available as "raw castings" or "ready to be installed".
If the Aerial Set is purchased as a "raw casting" some flashing will need to be removed. The whole set will require washing.
The “ready to be installed” Aerial Set will be cleaned, sanded, and will have two coats of primer paint added.
Each casting can be applied to the fuselage with CA or epoxy after the surface of both the model and the back of the casting have been lightly sanded. The Large Aerial Fin can have two screws added from the inside for a mechanical bond.
The Small Aerial Fin, the Long Aerial Fin, and the Large Aerial Fin cna also be purchased seperately.
NOTE: To add or complete the aerials the modeler should still purchase the Aerial set for the BK 117 from your local Vario Dealer.
